The way I see it, all else is contingent on the Kwinana plant progressing to construction. As you state, we are "bogged down in the bureaucratic mire with Kwinana" and, unfortunately, that is out of our control. Well, up until we found out that the submission of additional documentation was two days overdue, it has appeared out of management's control.
Is the recent failure to meet a deadline in the approval process due to outright tardiness or last-minute amendments by our appointed global consultant, Turner & Townsend, to optimise plans before final resubmission? We just don't know. It could even be the development of something of a corporate nature going on in the background? Until such time as the company feels fit to divulge, I'm not willing to abandon ship. However, I agree that it is time that the company update the market and its shareholders (ALL its SH) because the optics are starting to weigh on the SP and SH sentiment... and, there are SH willing to push the pressure on disclosure to a point where it won't be good for the company.
I'm not all that concerned if and when the reservation on the Sweden site expires. It can well be extended or found to be unsuitable. There will be other sites that will present and that could turn out to be better. A company and its SH need to be adaptable. It would be nice, though, if management would keep us better informed. However, with the way fiduciary duty works, no company will make a song and dance about something that is immaterial and potentially turn it into one that is, causing a downturn in the SP. Better that the company work on getting Kwinana, Epanko and offtakes further progressed, IMO. Given that the Qtrlys Report is a matter of only a maximum of 4 weeks away, perhaps an update is not warranted... but the fact that the locals are gettting agitated (and I am getting agitated by their willingness to voice their agitation), perhaps AS should wake up to the unfavourable optics and do something about it. Just saying!
