I know that REE is back in the spotlight, its strategic importance has increased/highlighted, but that didn't explain to me the millions of dollars invested and the ~20% stock price increase day on day over the last three days. So, I did some research and found that last time REE was restricted, the price spiked as shown in the below graph. This was due to inventories (outside of China) diminishing and demand severely outstripping supply. The potential of this happening this time, is contingent upon the timeframe for inventories depletion and no reversal of policy. We also have the PFS due next month (clarified by Stuart Gale that this date holds - thanks Burner7) and the preliminary environmental approval due anytime, plus the recent massive resource upgrade.
If our stars align, we could be in a 0.30 - 0.40 range by the end of May on the back of the PFS.
I welcome, and would appreciate, others' views on this topic.
