kinda what I’ve been quietly hoping for, ie strategic partnership at government level where the Aussie government helps to fund/fastrack to production while the US provides binding offtakes.
Aussie government can beat their chests about building Aussie industry and creating jobs while the US gets to talk up the fact they made a ‘deal’ to secure critical minerals which will feed new local battery manufacturing facilities while shoring up strategic minerals that have defence applications.
seemed far fetched only weeks ago but now…. I can only dream
