I would like the express how this current trade war with USA and China with critical metals will benefit Australian graphite RNU. Tariffs will protect U.S. graphite makers, with the current state of affairs in the global graphite market is such that China holds 93% of the world's battery-grade graphite supply, per estimates by the International Energy Agency, The United States holds just 1% of this market, according to the IEA.
In the global graphite market, the geopolitical risk is very high as demand would be 10 times higher than supply outside of the top producer (China) in 2030. Meanwhile, the U.S. is seeking to increase its domestic supply of graphite. However, USA will need further supply’s from countries like Australia which have no imposed tariffs on graphite.
Australia is in prime position to be able to supply critical metals to the United states to boycott Chinas high tariffs.
At some stage RNU will be in the spotlight. RNU - 1. is fully cashed 100+mil bank. 2. Resource already established and mining permits awarded. 3. $185 million conditional loan on standby from the Government.
Current market cap is under its current cash position.
This trade war benefits all of Australia’s critical metals. Including Rare Earths, lithium nickel and of course Graphite.
