There is too much uncertainty now with regards to Trump's policies. It might have tracked Mn prices in the past but now it will come down to which countries the steel will come from. There is likely a drop in demand until they can figure out how to circumvent these tariffs. It is already down over 4% week on week.

Amateurs are running the white house if they think this type of environment is conducive to bring investments to USA. Most of the ones announced are just for show and likely dragged out till the next election before it ever happens.
