IMO David has improved his presentation.
The first half was significantly better whilst he was engaging and charismatic talking to the audience, until something changed and started relying on the slides. This was the old presentation style he reverted to, but I don't judge his competence or the shape of the business on a public speaking event.
I wouldn't be able to give a live presentation 1/10th as good, and doubt many on this forum could either.
