At the weekend, Japan, China and South Korea agreed to forge ahead with free trade agreements and to also consolidate the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.This is the world’s largest trade pact on paper. All three nations have settled their long running trade differences. China have also invited the heads of leading car manufacturers, BMW and Mercedes to meet the leader Xi Jinping and the EU trade commissioner was a recent visitor to Beijing.The trade/ tariff war is well and truly on.
