Whatever way you shake or mix this .. the Board issued an Announcement today , that did three things : 1) they choose to get into bed with an animal , that takes no prisoners ..and the lost 2) they have "dug a hole for themselves " , at an enormous cost , that has done nothing but destroyed shareholder wealth 3) they issued a 'second strike "themselves , on the next Remuneration Report . Walk the Plank ! IFL ..was diced and sliced , before common sense prevailed . I actually think PPT , thru its sheer stupidity over the last 5 years ...added value to itself today > The Vultures (KKR) had already started to pick over the carcass ...Now , AS A REVISED BOARD , ....grow some balls and start to energise some decent synergistic deals ! ..Quantas shareholders eventually decided that enough was enough ..different Industry , but the template is the same ( no disrespect to the current CEO who has inherited a great company , in cardiac arrest , of no doing of his own ) JMHO
