wonder what $80k a pop buys us at "board meetings" these dayz? here's my hypothetical tongue.png:

    - now, our mandate is to act in the BEST interests of shareholders
    - since we also, are shareholders, we must act in our own self interest, as such:
    • we cant accept full takeovers, that'll cost important shareholders their jobs (ours)
    • we need to reduce the burden on us shareholders, by removing 30-50% of our workload by ONLY accepting partial divestments
    • that way, we would continue to enjoy our current pay, even after carving out about half the structure and workload - win win!
    • the other muppets/shareholders would understand, as we will convince them that its in their best interests as we get to focus on less, I mean, refocus on growing AM - our core business.....

    - on another important agenda item, director remuneration - all in favour of that 40% increase?? we're overworked with all these special board meetings!! tongue.png
