I fear for families with kids and a mortgage with what is about to unfold mate. I went to Woolies last night and bought half a Woolies grocery bag of items. A tray of meat, a carton of eggs and few sundry items and it cam to over $70. The eggs I buy were $7 12 months ago, now a tad under $10. I don't want to take this political, but it is what it is. If Labor regain, they'll push the renewable projects and try to shove through the Nature Positive Bill. Even without that bill, electricity prices are going to double IMO, over the next 3 -4 years. Add in a new bull leg in crude to USD200.00 and above, food inflation and service increases, and I don';t see how this ends without collapse and a massive debt default across all sectors.
