im not really sure that protectionism will be a winner
its a poor short sighted excuse for lack of innovation and rewards laziness
capitalism thrives on competition
brutal but effective
and the largest economy is literally throwing their teddy in the dirt and going home
and admitting they can't compete
really?
not a good strategy...IMO
