Apparently, the incident happened when the rig was packing up/demobilizing. Even so, a lot of heavy things are on the mast or overhead booms and jibs when packing up after a hole is complete. This is a useful warning to all in the industry that the danger doesn't end just because the noise and dust have stopped. I'm sure most HotCopper members would be extending their sympathies to close family and friends of the person involved.
