I have just taken a position, been waiting on PPT to bottom and got too cute. In under $19 anyhow this morning and waiting for the dividend payment from the KKR deal and SOL potentially having another dig at PPT.
What a disaster for those long-term holders PPT has been, great brand and like IFL huge amount of restructuring being done that is badly needed. The big deals have been done and similar to IFL huge cost cutting and brand and product consolidation/cost reductions/redundancies to get the growth going again.
PPT is a good business but was poorly managed, lets see what this new CEO can do, but SOL doesn't buy 12% have a tilt once and walk away. They will come back and bid again and i'd take SOL script and management going forward.
Will wait and collect dividends and hope PPT can stop the FUM outflows
