CR aside, EQN is sitting on a fortune in scarce critical metals - and this new info on met work done for the Brazil titanium is vital.
1. The ultra high grade British Columbia antimony deposit (where they have exploration permissions to drill and take a 10,000 tonne bulk sample, which they can sell and is possibly valued in the hundreds of millions) remains the game changer.
2. But the follow up recent success at Mata da Corda puts more hi octane in the tank.
Titanium is absolutely vital in aeronautics and space - as are its main alloying elements (including niobium, btw) - and, guess what, China has the market covered.
So Equinox is sitting pretty - whether the titanium is refined in Brazil or Europe or Australia (using cheap nuclear power courtesy of The Hon. Peter) (or using occasional solar courtesy of Black-Out Bowen) is not as important as having discovered and developed the ore in the ground.
3. Going forward on this beautiful, if overpopulated planet, ownership of vital minerals will define the rich and the powerful. (Trump knows that (if not much else)). But most important the countries which have the minerals and also the geos, and engineers and entrepreneurs who can extract them safely and economically will benefit most. As yet undiscovered minerals in a war zone, or under a frozen waste are not of much value, Mr POTUS.
DYOR carefully, because IMO EQN is one of the top three critical metals plays on the ASX known to me..
