Hezbollah attacks Israeli positions From correspondents in Rashaya, Lebanon August 8, 2003
LEBANON'S Hezbollah militia today attacked Israeli army positions in the disputed Shebaa Farms border region, in the first such action in several months, Lebanese police said.
They pounded Israeli positions on the side of Mount Hermon with dozens of mortar bombs and 107mm Katyusha rockets, the police said.
An AFP correspondent saw a large cloud of black smoke rising from one position, known as Radar, that had been targeted by some 30 missiles.
