Almost forgot talking of "trade deals", that were deals months ago but weren't but are now apparently deals again (confusing I know), Taiwan is a deal all over again:





Great news again right? Except that is a lot of zeros when Taiwan's nominal GDP is projected to be around $884 billion for 2025? It's starting to sound a lot like all those other "trade deals" (Korea, Japan etc etc) that promised (according to Trump), billions upon billions of investment into the US but never happened.

I still blame those penguins who reneged on that 250 billion investment into the US fishing industry. Trump was doing so well until they reneged and made him look like a liar .
