This is a constant argument on many threads on HC. The problem is, LFP & sodium batteries don't have the same energy density as a lithium-ion battery.
Yes, I agree, sodium & LFP will take a market share, as they're cheaper & relatively safer to use. But if you want longer range with the same size battery (range anxiety is a real issue), you will need a lithium-ion battery that contains nickel (or cobalt etc).
