Hi Denk,
I always appreciate your posts. I'd just like to add to your opening comments concerning narratives.
There was a time, not all that long ago, when running a home was a full time job, and a very important one for obvious reasons. It was considered a woman's job. No running water, no washing machine, no supermarket, grow a lot of your own food, etc. Most women didn't complain because the mainstream narrative supported it, with the man of the household working on the farm or out earning a living to support the family and the economy. Times have changed. I have three daughters and like you I encourage them to achieve whatever they like.
The only difference between then and now is the "narrative" you speak of which is purveyed via the mainstream media. Now the narrative is that everyone should be out earning a living to support the economy, while I suspect that an important driver for this is that cheap labour can be imported to replace the fall in child births. The family is no longer so important.
One example of the power of the mainstream media narrative is this: Often HC posters have asked why the champions of women's rights are not up in arms over Islam's treatment of women. IMO, the reason is that the MSM have not created the narrative that Islam's treatment of women is an issue. The narrative now is that any criticism of Islam is racism. It's one element of proof that the media absolutely controls what people think and condemns the so called free-thinkers.
Just saying .
