Previously I posted comments along these lines that polygamy may be acceptable if the Marriage Act is adulterated.
Howard just clarified the meaning of 'marriage' due to the intentional misinterpretation by the SSM lobbyists - being mischievous.
If the YES vote is successful, I foresee the Muslim community arguing for the right to have multiply wives.
A precedent has been set by Centrelink in accepting from a religious perspective acknowledging this multiply religious marriage.
Thinking further ahead, polygamy could become the norm, bisexual's living in a polygamist way having partners of each gender.

That's true, polygamy might become the norm, though there's no indication that it will. There's no contingency on the parties having the right to marry for that to be the case, nor can the possibility that marriage might one day involve more than two people be excluded. None of it is relevant to the question at hand.
