I do not think that demonstrations are any different today as they were in the 1960's, it just that now you and I are astute enough to take note of their message.
When we were younger, we thought anything we did at a rally was acceptable, after all we were invincible.
Whether we thought it was a justified disruption to society or not, it was a good and memorable day out.....
In a democratic society, you have the right to express yourself, if your expressivness gets out of control, the police enforce the law of the land and procecute.
