Gough also had a wonderful appreciation of the Arts and that would be an appropriate 'symbol ' for the era and the irony of Gunston's humour would not have been lost on Gough, demonstrated by his comments in response to Norms interjection. You still enjoy the gifts that P.M. Whitlam gave to you and your kiddies. He was a very erudite and enlightened Australia who was blessed with modesty in triumph and dignity in adversity.
