This sale will have produced a good return for those investors in AMP funds that have underlying investments in their infrastructure funds.
While it will have contributed to ANP earnings through fees and possibly performance bonuses, the capital growth in nit AMP’s. It has no impact on whether a deal goes through.
It does add to the reputation of AMP as a successful infrastructure fund manager. This is why it is in the specialist press.
As for phisherman suggesting this leads to a trading halt......I just give up. One more time. These are not AMP assets nor their profits.
