    THUNDELARRA EXPLORATION LIMITED

    The Directors of Thundelarra Exploration Ltd ('Company') wish to
    advise that at the request of the Directors, the common shares of the
    Company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange effective from
    the close of business on 10 January 2003.

    The decision to delist from the TSX Venture Exchange was made on the
    basis that;

    1. the common shares trade infrequently or in small parcels on the
    TSX Venture Exchange;

    2. fewer than 10% of the total number of common shares are owned by
    Canadian residents; and

    3. the costs associated with maintaining a listing on two stock
    exchanges, the TSX Venture Exchange and the Australian Stock
    Exchange ("ASX") is not a satisfactory use of shareholder funds.

    The Company shares will continue to be listed on the ASX.

    The Canadian shareholders will be encouraged to contact their
    stockbroker or financial advisor for information as to how they might
    continue to trade in the shares of the Company on the ASX.

    CHAIRMAN
