NG is mostly used by people who already have a home or are already on their way to full home ownership, they are already ahead of new entrants. NG assist these investors to outbid new entrants for a second, third or fourth dwelling, driving prices higher forcing new entrants to fall further behind as they have to save a larger deposit. If you really want to help people get ahead, help the ones that need it more..the new entrants.
