Apparently, there are many youngsters have an issue with the join in their thumbs. This is due to fast and frequent text messaging daily (and probably during the evenings as well). What they end up with is "trigger thumb".

Now, this was recently on ACA (I think) and I reckon people need to take note. Doctor said problem was at "endemic" stage.

I once had "trigger thumb" due to learning to spin. (OK, I am an "oldie".) I can tell you, it is difficult to resolve, quite painful and extremely annoying. It goes for weeks and weeks before its severity begins to fade. I saw several specialists about it.

Now am free from "trigger thumb" and my spinning has improved, so no longer an issue. Rather like Repetitive Use sydrome or whatever it used to be called.
