VECOMMERCE RISING?, page-2

I don't have any new insights, but will just repeat my long held theories.

A big wagering deal like their TAB Limited one is demonstrably 100 times bigger than say a Taxi one.

    1000 ports versus <10.

So VeCommerce (VCM) needs to keep scoring on these big deals. But the TabCorp one seems strangely quiet.

And VCM's expensive forays into the Northern hemisphere have only served to turn it back to cashflow negative.

Meanwhile their platinum partner Nuance recently boasted of a European wagering system which debuted on the Grand National. i.e. the business has gone to a VCM competitor, who weren't daunted by developing a system from scratch.

VCM once had a virtual monopoly on wagering, but doesn't appear to have put in much effort to protecting it. Through improving features and accuracy of the product so that competitors would find it too hard to match.

Instead Paul Magee has probably notched up heaps of frequent flyer points.
