A dumber than dumb post, when the US [ and presumably others Countries ]decide to print more money, is it against Govt Bonds or Gold Reserves that are held?
And is that money then utilised by the Govt to pay Federal bills i.e wages US forces, public servants, if not how is it circulated to the general population.
If not printed in exchange for Bonds or Gold Reserves, is their anything to stop a Country printing willie-nillie, which I assume is what has happened to Countries like Zimbabwe?
Presumably similar to the equity market the more money printed the lower the real value of that Country currency .
