for quite a while, I thought - surely, it's not possible that he believes what he's saying and he's just spinning bullshit in that 'china' or 'mexico' or whoever will pay

but, as time has gone on - it really does look like he doesn't understand that the importer pays - and with the large percentages he's putting on - it MUST be sent on to Americans to pay

even after all these weeks or actually being president - he appears to be devoid of the basic way that tariffs work

even for Trump - this is beyond me to understand - how he can't understand the very basics

it's beyond fascinating - it's close to unbelievable - but, here it is


God help us - for what else he doesn't understand and may pull triggers or push buttons on things which he is totally ignorant of
