    Hi Nikl

    These are the BASIC settings to give you a visual ideal about the extreme moves on most EUR & GBP pairs. I would use multiples 5 & 7 for AUD pairs and most USD pairs. Just add them to the strategy tester and run back 6 months to get a optimised setting for your trading pairs.
    The biggest issue is when a pair is on a grind and it JUST KEEPS GOING AND DOESN'T stop for hours. These moves will just blow up any Band your using. This is the reason to hedge on a spike move if this move doesn't stop. There could be 100+ pips in these moves so a 10-15 pip hedge here is your safety value.
    There is still some other bands I use on my chart ( 8 more special bands ) which take into account the amount of movement that has occurred in a days move in relationship to the daily ADR and the fact the day is broken into 3 sessions.
