Yes,but it would not be the same,,as the open tins are passed through supper heated steam tunnels and thus the salt extracts the
essence of the tuna,,then they seal the tin,,i used to like dipping toast in the brine, but if you add salt to the eater tins,and try to heat them
you get tuna mush,,,
