"As bad as it gets" , it's not that bad imo, ask the Crimeans, they (majority) are happy.. for a start their remuneration has more then tripled amongst other benefits.

The company has clearly stated that the Povorotnoye project is in "force majeure" perhaps foreseeing a longer time frame of instability in Crimea. The situation imo is a bit of a beat up. Not to be undermined but nevertheless blown out of proportion. The fear of Putin invading Eastern Ukraine seems off the table or very unlikely. Remembering it was not that long ago that Crimea was a part of Russia which I think the west conveniently like to forget..

Anyway they clearly state that they now require "confirmation of tenure" for the project so what we are waiting for is written confirmation from the Deputy Prime Minster (Autonomous Republic of Crimea & Ukrainian) and Russian Ambassadors to Australia.

Who knows how long that will take and if in the meantime the company decide to do some ramping re Golden Eagle project.

One thing for sure whoever sold at .002 will more than likely regret it.

GRES still remains as a dubious undertaking imo..

It's pretty messed up but speculatively undervalued ? Yes IMO
