Ivanhoe will be doing 18mtpa in due course with its Kamoa-Kakula copper mine. 10mtpa looks possible compared to that.
I would say the 10mtpa scenario is what is being discussed in any negotiations and hence we see it so early on becoming a scoping study.
Multiple routes are likely and possibly a Chem plant at an established venue for industrial chemicals, Likasi.
This has all been discussed before on these threads.
I think the hard part is how much Chinese would reveal about their plans for infrastructure.
AVZ just looking for the path towards mining with least resistance and any external catalysts are a bonus imo
