A small consolation from the election is that the nuclear debate has moved on. We are no longer talking about 3 eyed fish.
Liberals, Nationals and the ALP are now arguing about the economics of various forms of energy. Those relative economics will vary over time.
In my opinion the economic viability of small modular nuclear reactors will improve rapidly.
