Yes, oil burner. This is a pertinent scripture. The apostle Paul points out that prior to the authentic coming of christ and his manifestation to the chosen ones, a man of lawlessness would proclaim a false parousia.
    -----
3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
Ababab, can you point out which verse connects the man of lawlessness with proclaiming a false parousia? I can't find it!
I can only see "the apostasy" mentioned which started after the death of the apostles and continued until the time of the parousia.

(Matthew 13:40-43) Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. 41 The Son of man will send his angels, and they will collect out from his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and people who practice lawlessness, 42 and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be. 43 At that time the righteous ones will shine as brightly as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Let the one who has ears listen.

That Jesus is overseeing matters should give us confidence things are in safe hands.
