Yep. Eastern religions have done a much better job staying on track. Especially Buddhism. I think it has a lot to do with the texts which they're based upon. The Buddhist Pali Canon is superior to the Christian Bible, at least the bits I've read. Far more detailed, more practical, precise & useful. Insitutions tend to want to empower themselves, and they change the interpretations accordingly.

I agree, the Eastern Religions are a little more sophisticated than the West. I believe it is because they are less likely to kill, due to karma.
