    s 44(i) of the constitution is clear. In a few short words it says that those ELIGIBLE for foreign citizenship can't be MPs. There are no weasel words about knowing, exercising the option or trying to renounce...

    "....or entitled to the rights or privileges of a subject or a citizen of a foreign power; ...is ineligible"

    The only way the insiders will get away with it is if their Maaates in the High Court make something up.

    I don't want MPs running the country who have the option of going elsewhere to retire after they have mucked Australia up.

    For good reason only those who haven't kept their options open should be MPs.
