It seems to me that the major supermarket chains have a cartel in place to squeeze out the Aussie producer . Have of the stuff including the cheese is frozen . Some smart accountant has worked out how to increase their margins by bludgeoning Aussie producers to death and providing customers with inferior produce at the same time .
I NEVER buy fruit ,vegetables ,cheese , meat ,fish( half of which seems like it's been round the block a few times ) from any supermarket chain . Support your local butcher , fruiterer , delicatessen ,fishmonger. And why can't our lilly livid politicians do something about getting these leeches on our society to at least provide the public with acceptable products ,stop ripping off consumers and help small Australian business at the same time.
