Outside of a few rural pockets not sure if Barnaby has much support.
The recent increased support for PHON is more a 'protest vote' against the ALP's immigration policies, PHON's support is quite widespread and is even on the up in the cities (from a very low base though)
People are using it like the independents, it's there only avenue of protest against certain major policies of the 2 major parties, not an affirmation of the credibility of Barnaby or Pauline, more a message to the majors.
