Telstra exposure a worry

In light of the NASDAQ getting hammered and in particular global telecommunications companies, surely Telstra's exposure to the 'high tech' investments such as those in Asia, let alone the ones back home, (Solution 6 and Keycorp for example), have got to be a drag on the companys fundamentals in the short term.

I see TLS coming under more pressure as it's requirement to carry these loss making ventures drag on over the next 12 months.

TLS recently turned to raising cash in the UK and to my mind, this stands as testimoney that it plans to try to prop up poor investments with borrowed money.

Borrowed money by the way, which it has promised to not only repay but to pay a dividend on as well!

How far can Ziggy stretch the budget?
