Not really had the chance, time yet, to just chill and enjoy it.
Been digging up plants, palms etc from the old place, some going straight in and many others into pots.
Have yet to finish brick walls and texture coat them (trowel on), before I can work on the gardens, which will back onto them.
Right side and rear, front pretty much done, no walls there.
All the fake lawn is down,...a bit of a huff and puff involved in doing that solo.
Because the old place is also pretty much covered in gum trees etc, when digging up plants etc, your fighting against roots etc.
The temp and winds over here for the last 2 weeks, hasn't exactly made it exciting lol.
Agapanthus it would seem, are going to be quite a theme, free lol.
40-50 odd already in the front and 130 plus, potted.
The old place, the buyer (Developer) will be bulldozing early this year, hence I have been digging like a goffer.
It can get to ya at times lol, so much so, today I decided to do absolutely zero and now feeling guilty lol.
The Cats, at times, I am over them lol.
It seems, their running the show.
Jackson still insists on being outside at night and at 4-4.30 in the morning, up the back wall, leaps onto the roof and makes his way around to the front upper and leaps from the Garage parapet wall onto the Main Bed window sill and meows to be let in.
If that fails, he leaps from the sill onto the outdoor Balcony and meows outside the Bedroom glass door, which leads onto the Balcony.
But if you don't walk him down the stairs to his tucker, he goes to the other end of the indoor Balcony and meows outside the Bedroom door lol.
It becomes a huff and puff between me and the wife, as to whose turn it is.
The rag doll, Bling, creamish with brownish, come beige touches, is clearly a Bogan lol.
Heads out in the paddock, rolls in the black sand and grass seeds and then wants to come back inside.
Creamish tiles, high gloss, so even one dead mosquito looks like the elephant in the room.
So,..you can imagine what The Bling brings in
Colour wise, she's a perfect match to our floor tiles lol.
Have yet to catch the wild one, Chief.
Been holding off somewhat, as he will be going in the Machinery shed until he settles.
To hot in there atm.
Probably going set up mesh on a partially open sliding door and add two whirly birds as I have a couple of spares.
Just been leaving the door partially open lately and that appears to make a huge difference, even without the whirly birds.
Yep,... I think the place will keep us fit lol,...........but we did already know this, before building.
