    Nonsense stuff,

Wunderground, aww god.  shoot yourself in the foot mjp.  we will get to that later with your reference.  Too late to retract now.  haha

A volcanic episode causes "COOLING"  well that is a first.  When did that become settled science fact?

Ozone reduction,   yes most definitely,  if there is less ozone to capture incoming radiation  then that parcel of atmosphere will cool down.  Also means that more energy is then making it lower into our atmosphere.

A cooling stratosphere is also responsible for ozone destruction,  Bit of a runaway ozone destruction process hey.  Well luckily for us the SUN is the major player in Ozone proliferation.  Or the science is just wrong?

I dont believe mans contribution to CFCs could cause the rapid decline in ozone.  Since the 90s ozone has STEADIED  as has stratosphere temperature.  Go figure

Here is slice of the globe closer to the equator and Pinatubo.  Taking note that the spikes were well under way prior to the volcanic eruption.

Any other suggestion as to what could cause that mjp?
