1415 [Dow Jones] Summit (SMM.AU) leads junior uranium sector higher, rises 14% to fresh record 75.5 cents on heavy turnover of 3.4 million shares, a massive gain from 5.0 cents a year ago. SMM now drilling various targets at Mount Isa uranium project, results from which could help support SMM going forward. SMM says it's the most advanced uranium exploration company in Australia, and after BHP Billiton (BHP.AU), Energy Resources of Australia (ERA.AU), controls largest uranium resource in Australia. No sign intense investor interest in all things uranium waning yet. (RCB)
