I'm guessing you're right as the mpos has limited payment options whereas the solution they mention takes 20 card types. I actually recently cut an mpos deal in Australia (a decent one) and so demand is obviously still around. the benefit in my deal was to have a small, mobile CP solution with a custom app for data sharing to an ERP. the direct to market solution in Australia is not a bad one if their sales team is good. I wonder who does the acquiring? it's probably been mention before. I reckon a really tough guess might be that all in rate for mint on direct sales might be 80bp (ave interchange, scheme, margin) soanything above this they sell to a direct client is gross profit. I hope they do well in Asia as an Australia based fintech
