Silver is likely to be the next metal to run. It is used in large quantities in multiple fields. Stockpiles are rapidly depleting as reserves held by many nations have been depleted. The silver price has been depressed because of this. World reserves have fallen to about 13% of what they were 17 years ago yet demand has continued to increase.
The silver shortage is expected to hit critical point in the next 12 to 18 months as strategic reserves are exhausted worldwide. Some manufacturing operations (used in many fields) may no longer be able to source the metal so a fierce bidding war may erupt seeing prices several times higher than at present.
The good news - Frontier has Silver is vast quantities.
This may be part of the stimulus to the SP in germany.
