There’s many excuses and facts that I could drag out but the 90km/hr section is for the turn in/out of Lano.
These are sacrosanct and also, anything under a 100 signifies caution.
Hope they give the tourist in the 90 zone a canning with the fine ( for their stupidity).
July, an old biddy nearly ran me off the road st the Guilderton turn off.
Partially my fault for a lack of attention.
She had one of those new small Mazda’s, brakes heavily close to turn off and drifted almost to the left shoulder as there was a couple of cars coming the other way ( or she thought her big rig needed the extra turning circle).
I kept the drivers side, wheels on the black top but there was a washout of the gravel shoulder and a good drop into small/medium trunked trees.
I had a split second to see the “Purple Rinse”, the street sign sail past my side mirror with no understanding of how I still had the mirror and several seat springs felt like they were intwined with my colan as the 2/3 seconds crawled along.
The road had been widened by a meter or so at the T junction and I used every centimetre of it to claw my way back to safety.
