    Thanks very much for that. Absolutely fascinating! Had trouble hearing what type of gold he kept mentioning, clastic? plastic? .... ?

    Does this invalidate either of

    (1) That microbes existed in WA rocks 3.4b years ago?
    (2) That, because the nuggets are larger there might could not be a Witwatersrand like formation?
    (3) The conglomerates possibly contain lots of gold?

    In other words, are ages of Pilbara rocks misunderstood or the Wits style deposit idea is BS? Or that microbes actually exist way back then (at least ones that could use reduction or oxidation)?
