    Naked shorting appears not to be a problem in Australia as those trades would fail settlement and the fact is that very few trades fail as the asx failed settlement reports show. On the whole "only buying and selling taking place is by the large brokers..." etc etc. The top broker in MSB has been Commsec over the past year, buying 514.4M at an average of $3.41 and selling 463.0M at an average of 3.44. Commsec is a retail broker and this indicates that retail has been at the forefront of both buying and selling, though not shorting afaik.

    I'm interested in what makes you think there is frontrunning going on - you can tell from the course of sales? Or do you have other information?
