I've listened and read his stuff on Ukraine. Sure he makes some good points but I think he misses the bigger picture.

That US/NATO has been working up to a war against Russia for over two decades.
Breakup of Yugoslavia, bombing Serbia, war against Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria are all the preliminary wars, as at the same time US/NATO pushed across eastern Europe right up to the Russian border.

He seems to be pushing this myth of "Putin" the puppet master, masterfully manipulating world leaders like pawns in a chess game.
Apparently he even got Trump elected ! According to Ritter, Putin has taken the world by surprise with a masterful invasion !

When in fact Biden/Blinken did everything to goad him on.
In a few short days crippling sanctions are on, kicked out of SWIFT, all Euro powers are spending billions on arms and pouring weaponry into Ukraine.
I think Putin has made a reckless blunder, BUT he probably decided war was inevitable and thought sooner rather than later.
