There is no evidence that Russia had any intentions of stealing land when they went into Ukraine.
Seems to me if they wanted to steal Donbas, that would have been done back in 2014, when Donetsk and Luhansk actually asked to join Russia. And when the Ukrainian army was in no shape to defend those territories.
But Russia declined that request. Now is that a behaviour of a country that wants to steal land?
No.
Your narrative does not add up. And about time you finally acknowledged the fact that if it wasn't for USA's backing of the illegal coup, none of this would have happened. Unless you want to suggest that the Russian government actually initiated the coup. Because everything that happened after - was a consequence.

What Russia is doing pales in comparison to what USA has been doing for decades. (i.e bombing countries to fight terrorism allegedly, when in fact it was about stealing resources from a country and turning it into a de-facto financial colony of what we refer to as "Western Financial Institutions"

Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John PerkinsThe United States is engaging in a modern form of slavery by using the World Bank and other international organizations to offer huge loans to developing nations for construction projects and oil production. On the surface this appears to be generous, but the money is only awarded to a country if it agrees to hire US construction firms, which ensures a select few people get rich. Furthermore, the loans are intentionally too big for any developing nation to repay and this debt burden virtually guarantees the developing nation will support the political interests of the United States.
