this is time of year for me to reflect, to cherish the greatness of 22 and to deliberate on lessons that I have learnt.
Today is a time for focus, so here is my truth
CH did not need to announce and commit to the milestones to Goldman sachs and us some six weeks ago.
He backed those commitments only days or short weeks ago.
An astute investor recently said well it’s not entirely in CH control.
Obviously, but that does not excite nor change the end result.
At the end of the day they failed to deliver on a commitment made by our mgmt team.
In my book, that can be forgiven but it’s not ok.
CH is both over exuberant and loyal which in itself is both a positive and a negative.
All that said, I am confident CH is beating himself up more than what we could ever do cause I believe him to be a man who lives by his word.
I, myself bought another $50k parcel today. Very happy at these prices and have no intention to sell anytime soon.
today though, my faith in mgmt has been questioned because they have not met nor exceeded my expectations. The expectations they in fact set.
